wife Emma Heming Willis has paid a touching tribute to the actor and their "unconditional love" in a sweet post to mark their wedding anniversary. On Friday (March 21), the 46-year-old took to Instagram where she shared a throwback snap of herself hugging her husband and gazing lovingly into his eyes.
Alongside the sweet picture, she posted a gushing message to her husband, highlighting the "monumental highs" and "devastating lows" they have experienced together. The former model wrote: "Today marks 16 years with the love of a lifetime. We've shared monumental highs and devastating lows, and through it all, we've built something timeless.
"I'm so deeply grateful for every chapter I've had with him and all the ones we'll continue to write, in our language of unconditional love." Bruce and Emma tied the knot in Turks and Caicos on March 21, 2009, and welcomed two daughters together, Mabel 12, and Evelyn, 10.
The Die Hard star has remained out of the limelight for the past few years as her partner battles two devastating brain conditions. In February 2023, his family revealed that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia one year after he "stepped away" from acting while battling aphasia, an illness that affects sufferers' ability to speak, write, and understand language.
Emma's fans were quick to flood to the comments to pass on their well wishes to the pair online. One user penned: "True love! @emmahemingwillis [you're] a true example of unconditional care giver and wife, role model." Another gushed: "What a gorgeous moment of intimacy and love captured here!" as a third echoed: "Happy anniversary. What a joyous photo".
A fourth commented "YOU ARE AMAZING and a huge inspiration for us! Love always wins" as a fifth chimed in with: "This is so absolutely gorgeous, wishing you all the best from the bottom of my heart."
Someone else added: "Happy Anniversary! You guys are the epitome of what true love really is!" as another wrote: "Bruce is a great girl dad, so I hope he continues to fight his diagnosis and keep all you girls happy! Lucky wife, blessed life."
Emma's sweet post comes just two days after she wished Bruce a happy birthday message on March 19, as he turned 70. Posting a photo of Bruce giving a double thumbs up as he stood on a quad bike, Emma asked fans to "flood him" with love.
She wrote: "It's Bruce's birthday, and if there's one thing I know, it's that there's no greater fan than a Bruce fan. So flood him with all the love today - he will feel it, I swear he will.
"You are one powerful bunch. I love how you rally for him, and I'm so grateful that he has you." Bruce's three children with ex-wife Demi Moore - Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 31, all liked the post and left sweet comments.
