The dates of the 2025 National Para Fencing Championship are announced for March 28–31 in Bhubaneswar. Top para fencers from all across the nation will compete in the renowned tournament, which will take place in Kalinga Sports Complex, Niladri Vihar, and Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium, according to a PSAO announcement.

Around 200 players are expected to compete for top honors in the championship, which is being organized by the Para Sports Association of Odisha (PSAO) under the auspices of the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) and supported by the Sports and Youth Services Department, Government of Odisha. Over 25 states and 20 additional teams are expected to participate.

PSAO President Kamala Kanta Rath was excited about the forthcoming event: “We are really excited to host the National Para Fencing Championship in Bhubaneswar. This event will demonstrate Odisha’s strong commitment to sports development in addition to showcasing the extraordinary abilities of our para-athletes.

According to a PSAO announcement, “We look forward to creating an inspiring atmosphere for these remarkable athletes to compete at the highest level.”

The Paralympic Committee of India’s Treasurer and Secretary of the Para Sports Association of Odisha, Sunil Pradhan, emphasized the event’s importance by saying, “Para fencing is a sport that requires immense skill, agility, and determination.”
