According to different variants of Maruti Suzuki, its weight currently ranges from 680 kg to 760 kg. At one of its events in 2024, Maruti Suzuki's parent company Suzuki said that the new generation's Alto will reduce weight on a large scale. In such a situation, the weight of Alto's new range will be from 580 kg to 660 kg. Earlier, Maruti Alto of 6th generation weighed from 72 kg to 810 kg.
