Shah Rukh Khan, often referred to as the King of Bollywood, has earned immense success through years of hard work and dedication. His iconic home, 'Mannat', is not just a luxurious residence but also holds deep emotional significance for the superstar. Valued at over ₹200 crore, Mannat is one of Mumbai's most famous landmarks. Interestingly, the house follows a set of strict rules, some of which even Shah Rukh himself adheres to.

'I Didn’t Have a Home Anywhere in the World'

An old video of Shah Rukh Khan has recently gone viral on social media, where he recalls how buying Mannat was one of the toughest challenges of his life. In the clip, he shares, "I didn’t have a home anywhere in the world. After my parents passed away, I was left without a house of my own. Owning a home was a dream for me, which is why Mannat holds a special place in my heart."

Rules Inside Mannat

Shah Rukh Khan has implemented specific rules for his household, prioritizing privacy and family time. One of the key rules includes limiting phone usage inside the house—except in private spaces like the bathroom. Even the superstar himself follows this rule and avoids excessive phone use within Mannat.

Additionally, Shah Rukh revealed that he purchased Mannat after the birth of his children, ensuring that they would have a home that could be passed down for generations. "This is my family’s house, and we will always live in Mumbai. I want my great-grandchildren to grow up here, just like an old Parsi family stays in their ancestral home," he said.
