Reliance Jio wants to distribute OpenAI's ChatGPT in India

OpenAI and Meta are in talks with Reliance Industries. The discussions aim to bolster their artificial intelligence (AI) presence in India.

One option on the table, according to The Information, is a Reliance Jio-OpenAI partnership for ChatGPT distribution here.

Reliance has also discussed selling OpenAI's models to its enterprise customers via an application programming interface (API).

The company wants to host and run these models locally to keep the customer data within India.
