A social media feud seems to have sparked between two former cricket stars from India and Pakistan, as Shoaib Akhtar released a series of videos on Instagram, taking a dig at Virender Sehwag for his frequent mentions of his triple century. Sehwag, who made history as the first Indian cricketer to score a triple hundred in Test cricket, has seemingly irritated Akhtar with his constant references to the remarkable achievement. In a video, Akhtar expressed his frustration, warning Sehwag to stop talking about the feat, as he is "fed up" of hearing about it.The drama began when Sehwag appeared in a commercial alongside actress Mandira Bedi and Sahiba Bali. On Instagram, the former India opener shared a post saying, "Ek triple centurion ke handle se @fwd ka ad post ho raha hai."Shoaib Akhtar was not pleased with the post. He took to Instagram and wrote: "@fwd vaalo kisi stylish bande ko lena next ad mein (mere DM open hain). Hahaha.". In the video, the former Pakistan pacer can be heard saying "I saw a video of Viru Paaji. Man, I'm fed up of hearing him talk. It's the same tape playing for the last 20 years-'300, 300, 300'. Come on, brother, I was there too when you scored that 300. You played really well, no doubt. But it's the month of fasting, and one has to control their tongue-so please, stop now. If you want an entry in the Guinness World Records, I can get that done: 'The person who says 300 the most in the world-Virender Sehwag!'," Why is Virender Sehwag's 300 against Pakistan so special?Interestingly, it was against Pakistan that Sehwag had achieved this landmark, becoming the first Indian cricketer to score a triple hundred in Test cricket. The memorable moment came during India's 2004 tour of Pakistan in Multan, when Sehwag hit a six off Pakistan's spinner Saqlain Mushtaq to reach the milestone. Shoaib Akhtar was also part of the Pakistani team at the time.
