It also revealed that his estate will be divided equally between his son and a recently born daughter. Both Angelababy and his current girlfriend, internet personality and model Ye Ke are not included as beneficiaries in the will.
In addition, to prevent the possibility of Angelababy or Ye Ke leveraging their children to claim part of the inheritance, Huang is said to have established a dual trust fund with strict legal safeguards to protect the integrity of the distribution.
Huang Xiaoming has not publicly responded to the reports. However, a source close to the actor claimed that he began considering drafting a will following the sudden passing of Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, as a way to avoid future inheritance disputes among family members.
Huang owns multiple luxury properties across China, including three super villas located in Shanghai, Beijing and Qingdao, all in premium locations frequented by top billionaires and celebrities. The value of each real estate is reported to be millions of dollars.
Beyond his acting career and commanding appearance fees, Huang has demonstrated a sharp business vision. In 2011, he founded his own entertainment company, which has since invested in numerous film and television projects, reportedly generating an annual profit of around $1.2 million.
His investments span across 48 companies in various sectors, including healthcare, fashion, food and sports. According to QQHuang holds more than 50% ownership stakes in several major Chinese firms. Notably, he also owns over 6 million yuan ($943,000) in shares in Huayi Brothers, one of China’s top entertainment conglomerates, making him the actor with the highest shareholder ratio in the company’s history.
In September 2024, Huang made headlines again after publicly confirming his relationship with Ye Ke. Just two months later, she faced heavy backlash for controversial remarks during livestreams. In response to growing criticism, Ye Ke issued a public apology and announced a temporary withdrawal from social media.
Huang also addressed the controversy, offering his own public apology during the press conference for his film The Wig. However, the scandal appeared to impact the film’s performance, with disappointing box office returns and a quick withdrawal from theaters.
