Indian Railways is the largest rail network in the world. Every day millions of people travel by train. Along with its network, the Railways has also expanded the facilities available in trains. Railways has made many such arrangements, so that you can immediately ask for help in case of any problem during the journey. You do not even need to dial different numbers for different problems. Your problem will be solved with just one number.
Actually, Indian Railways has abolished all the helpline numbers. Instead, 139 has been made the integrated helpline number of the railways (Indian Railways customer care number). After calling on this number, you will have to choose the right option according to your need. After the process is completed, help will reach you.
For which problems can you ask for help?
Through the railway's integrated helpline number 139, you can ask for information on safety in the train, arrival and departure time of the train, reason for train delay, any complaint, inquiry about your goods or parcel, medical facility, complaint about cleanliness in the station, update about any train accident, any investigation related to railway matter. You can register other complaints or ask for help.

At the same time, if a woman feels unsafe for any reason during the journey, she could ask for help by calling 182. Passengers could ask for help by calling child safety helpline number or childline helpline number 1098. For any kind of complaint or feedback related to railways, passengers had to dial helpline number 138. Now work will be done with a single number.
