To become a civil judge, first you have to get a law degree after 12th. For this, you have to do a five-year BA LLB after 12th or LLB course after graduation from any stream. After law graduation, you have to pass the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) conducted by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

The salary for this post ranges from Rs 77,840 to Rs 1,36,520. After this, on 5 years of experience, one gets posted as ACP Magistrate. After getting selected for the post of District Judge, one gets salary ranging from Rs 1,44,840 to Rs 1,94,660.
