The New Zealand cricket team has announced its team for the three -match ODI series against Pakistan. White-ball captain Mitchell Santner is not playing in this series, and Tom Latham has been given the command of the team in his place. Out of 13 players in this team, 8 players have been included, who recently traveled for the Runner-up in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. However, big names like Kane Williamson, Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway and Glenn Philips will not play in this series due to being busy in IPL 2025. New Zealand has chosen fast bowler Muhammad Abbas in the team who was born in Lahore. Apart from him, Nick Kelly has also got a chance. Both players play in New Zealand domestic cricket for Wellington Firebirds and they have got a place in the national team for the first time.
Will Young and Nick Kelly will open. Daril Mitchell, Michael Bracewell and Nathan Smith will strengthen the middle order. Matt Henry and Kyle Jamison will not play in this series in bowling.
