The makers have shared another poster of Thalpati Vijay's film 'Jan Nayakan'. In this, Vijay is seen smiling in a white shirt. The makers have also revealed the release date of the film along with sharing a new poster. The film will be released on the special occasion of Pongal in 2026.

'Jan Nayakan' will be released on Pongal 2026

The makers recently shared a poster of Vijay's film and has now released another poster. Along with this, the release date of the film has also been told. The film will be released on Pongal on 9 January 2026. Fans will have to wait for more than 9 months for Vijay's last film. KVN Productions shared this information on Instagram and X. With this, Vijay's fans have jumped with joy. He hopes that Vijay will cause havoc at the box office for the last time through this film.

Victory can be made on Pongal

Vijay's film has been directed by H Vinoth. He has also written its story. While its producers are Jagdish Palanisamy and Lohit NK. In the film, Thalapati's opposite actress Pooja Hegde will be seen. While Bollywood actor Bobby Deol will also be seen in an important role in it. There were earlier reports that the film will be released in October 2025. But the makers have played a big bet by deciding to release it on Pongal. Because Pongal is considered a big festival in South and the film can benefit from it.

In 2024, Vijay formed his political party Tamilaga Vettree Kazhagam (TVK) in the year 2024. It is believed that Vijay's goal is now to enter politics completely and he will end the acting career through his 69th film (Jan Nayakan). Vijay is planning to contest the assembly elections in Tamilandu in the year 2026.
