Material (Navratri Special, Sama Rice Idli Recipe)
- Sama rice – 1 cup
- Sabot urad dal – 1/4 cup
- Cumin – 1/4 teaspoon
- Ginger (grated) – 1/2 teaspoon
- Green chili (finely chopped) – 1
- freshly ground black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
- Rock salt – As per taste
- Water – As per need

Method (Navratri Special, Sama Rice Idli Recipe)
- First of all wash Sama rice and urad dal separately and soak it in water for 4-5 hours.
- After 5 hours, make a fine paste by putting Sama rice and urad dal in a grinder or grinder with water. Keep it thick, so that idli batter is in correct consistency.
- Add cumin, chopped green chillies, ginger, black pepper powder and rock salt to this batter. Now mix well and keep the batter covered for 15-20 minutes.
- Grease the idli stand lightly and put the batter in the idli molds.
- Put some water in the pressure cooker and place the idli stand in it. Steam for 15-20 minutes without whistling.
- When the idli cooks well, take it out and let it cool down lightly.
- Now serve the prepared idli with falahri sauce or coconut chutney.
