Eid Special Dishes: The Pak month of Ramadan is still going on. In the last days of Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated all over the country. On this auspicious occasion delicious Pak dish is made. If you want to cook some fun and delicious food at home in this Eid-ul-Fitr, then Handi Chicken can be a great option.

This is a dish that does not take much hard work to make, but its taste is wonderful. Chicken pieces are cooked in spices and curd, which wins everyone's heart. Whether lunch or dinner, handi chicken fits on every occasion. So if you also want a taste and quick recipe, then definitely try this recipe.

Material

Chicken (boneless or bone with) – 500 grams
Onion – 2 (finely chopped)
Tomato – 2 (Finely chopped)
Ginger-garlic paste-1 tablespoon
Green Chilli – 2 (chopped)
Yogurt – 3 tablespoons
Oil-2-3 tablespoons
Water – 1 cup (or requirement)
Coriander powder – 1 tablespoon
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tablespoon
Red chili powder – 1 tablespoon (as per taste)
Garam Masala – 1 tablespoon
Cumin – 1 tsp
Green coriander – for decoration
salt to taste

Handi Chicken Recipe

1. First, wash and cut the chicken thoroughly. Keep in mind that chicken pieces are of the same size, so that all the pieces are equally cooked.

2. Heat oil in a handi (or any heavy frying pan). Now add cumin seeds and let it crackle. Then, add finely chopped onions and fry it on medium flame till it becomes light golden. After frying onion, add ginger-garlic paste to it and cook for 1-2 minutes. This will increase the fragrance of chicken.

3. Now add chicken pieces to it and mix well with spices. Fry the chicken for 5-7 minutes, so that it paint the spices well.

4. When the chicken is fry well, add curd to it and mix well. Curd will bring a different taste to the chicken. Now add water and cover and let the chicken cook on medium flame for 15-20 minutes. Until the chicken becomes completely soft and the spices do not thicken.

5. Now add garam masala and mix it well and add green coriander and decorate it. If you want more spicy, you can add more green chilies. Your handi chicken is ready. Serve it with hot bread, paratha or rice.
