Noor Ahmad about Dhoni’s stumping against the Mumbai Indians: “That stump from MS was electric stuff”

New Delhi [India]: On Sunday, , Afghan cricketer Noor Ahmad made his IPL debut for Chennai Super Kings against the Mumbai Indians. He expressed gratitude that his side earned two points and expressed his happiness with his contribution to the squad.

Additionally, Noor said that he has not felt alienated since joining CSK and that the franchise is quite laid back.

“First and foremost, I’m happy that my team scored two points; it was significant. I’m pleased with the contribution I made today; both the batsmen and the bowlers performed well. It’s my first time in this franchise, but I haven’t felt alienated since I arrived; everything is laid back and doing well. It’s wonderful to be here. In an IPL video, Noor Ahmad said, “I think Surya’s wicket was the best today. That stump from MS was electric stuff, it was too fast, and it is my favourite.”

Khaleel Ahmed, a fast bowler from India, spoke about his first time wearing the yellow uniform. In the 2025 Indian Premier League season, Khaleel joined the Chennai Super Kings. Against the Mumbai Indians on Monday, he made his CSK debut.

He expressed his happiness at becoming a member of Chennai and claimed he had always wanted to play for CSK. He said that since Ms. Dhoni and the CSK management had trust in him, he wanted to prove himself. During the game, Khaleel claimed to have taken three wickets, with Rohit Sharma’s wicket being his favorite.

“I’m thrilled since CSK is a new club to me and I wanted to wear a yellow jersey. Winning your first game makes you feel great, and you want your IPL season to start off well. I wanted to prove myself since Mahi bhai and CSK had trust in me. I will love spending time with Mahi bhai both on and off the field, and I will pick up tips from him. In an IPL video, Khaleel Ahmed said, “Rohit Sharma is my favorite wicket. My plan was simple to take wickets in the powerplay. I initially went for swing but it was not there, so I was just bowling around the stumps.”

In the current Indian Premier League, Chennai Super Kings defeated Mumbai Indians by four wickets at Chepauk on Sunday thanks to a strong performance from Noor Ahmad and a tough 65* from Rachin Ravindra.

Ellis and Ashwin both took a wicket, but Noor (4/18) and Khaleel (3/29) were CSK’s biggest wicket-takers. IPL 2025: Noor Ahmad’s outstanding performance held MI to 155/9, which CSK chased down with blazing fifties from skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad (53), and Rachin Ravindra (65*).
