Thirty-year-old Kiran was killed in the event; she was critically injured and pronounced dead at the hospital. The police have seized the car that was involved in the incident and detained Ankit and Sachin.

He said that when he was stopping at a gas station to fill up his motorbike, a vehicle ran her over as he was transporting her from her parents’ home to their own. His complaint led to the registration of a case and the start of an inquiry.

After examining CCTV video, police were able to identify the car’s owner as Ankit’s close buddy Sachin. Ankit admitted to the conspiracy during interrogation, saying that he wanted to wed his sister-in-law after five years of marriage without children. He planned to kill her when she turned down his proposal since he was already married to Kiran.
