Gabba to be Destroyed After 2032 Olympics: The Gabba, one of the legendary stadiums in the world, would get destroyed after the 2032 Olympics, which is about to be held in Queensland, as revealed by the Queensland government

Building a new 63000 capacity stadium in Victoria Park in Brisbane is under the plan, which will be dressed up for the inaugural and closing ceremonies of the Olympics.

However, the iconic stadium, which witnessed for a lot of epic cricket matches in history, will continue to host major events up until 2032.

Gabba to be Destroyed After 2032 Olympics

Queensland Cricket CEO Terry Svenson stated:

As the fog around Gabba getting cleared, it will help Cricket Australia in the venue allocation for international cricket.

Gabba has hosted plenty of memorable cricket matches, including a fiery Test in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in 2024 against India. The venue has served as the most dominant stadium of the Australian cricket team with an unbeaten run from 1988 to 2021.

As Cricket debuts in the Olympics in 2028, Australia is eyeing to win the Olympic gold in 2032 in their homeland.
