Are you also facing trouble with the Aadhaar card OTP? So this article is for you. The Aadhaar card is an essential document for many works in both government and private sectors. Often, when you have to take any action to your base, you are asked for OTP. If you do not give OTP at that time, your process can stop. Many times, OTP does not come on your registered mobile number, which can cause a lot of trouble.

If you are not getting your Aadhaar OTP, do not worry. This usually happens when your old number is inactive or you have taken a new number. It is very important to update your mobile number in your Aadhaar record. To do this, go to your close base center. You can fill the Aadhaar update/correction form by visiting the Aadhaar Enrollment Center or Common Service Center (CSC). After reaching there, fill your Aadhaar update/correction form with your Aadhaar number and your new mobile number. After submitting the form at the Aadhaar center, you have to go through biometric verification. Keep in mind that you can also update your base in the post office, so this is another option. To update your mobile number, you can book an appointment at a fee of Rs 50. At the Aadhaar card center, an officer will collect your biometric data.

They will scan your fingers and eyes, and take your photo. Next, you will receive a URN number, and your mobile number will be updated on your Aadhaar card within a few days. After the update is completed, you can easily download your Aadhaar card. To check update status online, enter your URN and Aadhaar number with captcha code on UIDAI's website. To know whether your update was successful or not, click on 'Check the situation'. If this is successful, you will see that your new mobile number is now linked to your Aadhaar card.

It usually takes about 5 to 7 days to change your mobile number, but sometimes it can take up to 90 days. It is a good idea to keep an eye on the status during this period.
