The disruption, which appeared to be global, led to a surge of complaints on Downdetector, a site that tracks service outages based on user reports.

Users across multiple regions found themselves suddenly logged out of their accounts, unable to sign back in, or encountering errors while trying to refresh their feeds. Some also experienced difficulties with messaging and other platform features.
