UAE and US Presidents discuss ways to further strengthen strategic ties in phone call

Abu Dhabi: President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates and President Donald Trump of the United States of America spoke over the phone today about ways to further their strategic partnership in a number of areas to promote common interests. As part of the long-standing collaboration between the United States and the United Arab Emirates, the call was made.

The results of Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s recent official tour to the United States as the National Security Advisor and Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi were also discussed during the conversation. Key agreements and partnerships between the two nations were announced as a result of the visit, with both sides highlighting the beneficial effects these developments will have on the future of bilateral relations. These partnerships and agreements were especially in the areas of energy, advanced technology, infrastructure, and artificial intelligence.
With an emphasis on the Middle East crisis and continued attempts to secure a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and preserve regional peace, they also examined a number of regional and global problems of shared concern.

Zayed reiterated the UAE’s support for the two-state solution as the cornerstone of a comprehensive, just, and long-lasting peace in the region—one that ensures security and stability for all of its countries and peoples. He also emphasized the significance of making sure that essential humanitarian aid is delivered to the people of Gaza in light of the dire humanitarian situation.

In order to achieve their common developmental goals and to promote peace and prosperity in the region and the global community, he also reaffirmed the UAE’s determination to keep stepping up its collaboration with the US. The UAE’s unwavering commitment to fostering cooperation and development on a regional and international scale is reflected in this pledge.

In a move that advances their common interests, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening strategic collaboration between the two nations.
