What is the option in case of low marks?
If a student has got lower marks than expected, then he can apply for scrutiny. In this process, the answer sheet is re-evaluated. To avail of this facility, students have to fill out an application form and pay the requisite fee within the specified time limit.
What is scrutiny?
Re-checking of marks: The examiner verifies whether all the answers have been evaluated correctly and there is no mistake in the total marks.
Unmarked Answers: If a valid answer is left unmarked, it is evaluated, and marks are awarded accordingly.
Answers cannot be rewritten: Students cannot rewrite their answers or add anything new during re-evaluation. Only existing answers are reviewed.
Possible change in marks: Marks may increase, decrease, or remain the same after re-evaluation.
BSEB 12th Scrutiny 2025: Scrutiny (Answer Sheet Re-checking)
If a student feels that his marks have been calculated wrongly and he should have got more marks, he can apply for scrutiny. In this process, the answer sheet is re-checked, and if any question has been evaluated wrongly, it is corrected.
