At the recently constructed huge Ram temple, preparations are well on for the second Ram Janmotsav. In addition to improving the darshan arrangements, efforts are being undertaken to fortify the security measures at the Ram Janmabhoomi grounds. Making sure that the many devotees that come may have a safe and easy darshan is the aim. In the meanwhile, there is already a noticeable buzz around Ramlala’s birth anniversary. The darshan method used during the Maha Kumbh will be reinstated if the number of pilgrims is extremely great.
The celebration of Ram Janmotsav, which falls on April 6 in conjunction with Ram Navami, is expected to draw a sizable number of devotees, just as it did the year before. As a result, extensive preparations are being made to provide a continuous darshan experience, much as those made during the Maha Kumbh. After receiving darshan of Ramlala, the temple management wants to provide devotees a pleasant experience so they may participate in the festivities and go on without any problems.
A waiting area is being established on the Ram Janmabhoomi grounds in order to effectively handle the large throng. When needed, this allocated area—which can hold around 5,000 devotees spread over two sites—will be utilized to control the number of people entering the temple. Devotees will be temporarily housed here before being brought for darshan if there is too much congestion.
Additionally, security measures are being strengthened to guarantee the property’s safety during the anticipated spike in visitors. Every area of the site will be monitored by a thousand advanced CCTV cameras with artificial intelligence and drone monitoring.
These surveillance systems have previously undergone testing. Plainclothes security guards will also be positioned atop nearby buildings, keeping a careful eye on the area with binoculars.
The holding facility will be used as required, according to Ram Janmabhoomi SP Security Balramchari Dubey, and all plans are being made in close consultation with the trust authorities. He promised that every devotee will be able to enjoy a simple and unhindered darshan on Ram Navami, exactly as during the Maha Kumbh.
