When you change your house, you change your address in the Aadhaar card. Apart from the address, you can also change your age, name or other information. For this, UIDAI gives you a chance to update Aadhaar. But there are some rules for this. It is not that you can change any information as many times as you want. Let us tell you about this.

According to the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Aadhaar card holders are given the facility to change their name (Name Change in Aadhaar) a maximum of 2 times, that is, the name can be changed only twice. After marriage, many women change their surname. In such a situation, there is a need to change their name in the Aadhaar card.

If there is any mistake in your date of birth, then you can also get it corrected. But you get this opportunity only once, which means you can change the DOB only once in your life.

You can change the address on the Aadhaar card as many times as you want (Address Change in Aadhaar). There is no limit set for this. You can change your address online yourself by providing valid proof like electricity/water/telephone bill, rental agreement or you can change it by visiting the Aadhaar enrolment centre.

If there is wrong information about gender in your Aadhaar due to some mistake, then you get a chance to correct it only once in life.

Nowadays Aadhaar card is required at many places, OTP sent to the Aadhaar linked mobile number is required at many places. But if you want to change the mobile number linked to Aadhaar, then you also get this option. You can change it as many times as you want. There is no limit to this by UIDAI.
