All-rounder Deepti Sharma and India vice-captain Smriti Mandhana maintained their third-place finishes in the most recent ICC Women’s T20I bowlers’ and batters’ rankings, which were released here on Tuesday.
Mandhana is the only Indian in the top ten, with captain Harmanpreet Kaur in 11th place, Jemimah Rodrigues in 15th, and Shafali Verma one spot below.
Australia’s Beth Mooney tops the batters’ list, followed by teammate Tahlia McGrath. With scores of 70 against New Zealand and 75 not, Mooney widened her lead at the top.
After a 32-run innings in the second match against the White Ferns, Phoebe Litchfield moved up three spots to 22nd overall.
Following her 40-run innings in the second game of the series against Australia, star all-rounder Melie Kerr moved up two spots on the list of T20I batters, while Georgia Plimmer, a New Zealander, moved up 20 spots to 50th place after some steady innings at the top of the order over the past month.
After Pakistan’s Sadia Iqbal and England’s Sophie Ecclestone, Deepti remained in third place among bowlers.
As the Australian all-rounder achieved a new career-high rating on the most recent ICC Women’s T20I bowling rankings, the accolades kept coming in for Annabel Sutherland.
After taking four wickets against New Zealand in Mount Maunganui, Sutherland, who has been a member of the ICC Women’s ODI Team of the Year for the past two years and was twice named the ICC Women’s Player of the Month in 2024, set a new personal best rating for T20I bowlers and jumped two spots to fourth place.
As Australia knocked the White Ferns out for only 122 in response to their enormous score of 204/3, the right-armer claimed four wickets, giving them an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-game series.
Darcie Brown, on the other hand, dropped 12 positions to 18th overall after recording 2/23 against New Zealand in their series’ second game. In the T20I all-rounder rankings, Kerr is still ranked second behind Hayley Matthews of the West Indies. This week’s biggest moves were McGrath, who moved up three spots to 18th, and Sutherland, who moved up one position to 21st.
