UPSC CDS Final Result 2024 Out: The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) has released the final result of the Combined Defense Services (CDS) Examination-II 2024 on its official website (upsc.gov.in). A total of 349 candidates have been selected based on performance in the written examination and interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB). These candidates will be given admission to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), and Air Force Academy (AFA).

Earlier, the commission had released separate merit lists for the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA) and Air Force Academy (AFA). In these lists, the names of some candidates were included in more than one list.

According to the UPSC notification, 2,534, 900, and 613 candidates had qualified for the written examination for the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and Air Force Academy respectively. After this, these candidates became eligible to appear in the interview round, where the final selection was made based on their performance.

Medical examination results are not included in the merit list.

UPSC has clarified that the result of the medical examination has not been taken into account while preparing the merit list. The commission informed that the verification of documents of date of birth and educational qualification of the candidates is going on at the Army Headquarters, and the candidature of the shortlisted candidates is currently provisional.

Important instructions for document verification

The selected candidates will have to submit the original certificates, their photocopies, and attested documents related to the date of birth, educational qualification, etc. to the respective headquarters, as per their first choice (Army, Navy, or Air Force).

When the UP Board 2025 High School and Intermediate result is declared, students will be able to check and download their results through Amar Ujala's website.

Candidates can easily check their results by visiting the official website of UPSC. For this, follow the simple steps given below:

First of all, you go to the official website https://upsc.gov.in.

Click on the "Exam" tab in the top navigation menu on the homepage.

After this, select the "Active Examinations" or "Results" option from the dropdown menu.

Now find the link to the CDS (2) 2024 Result.

Click on the notification titled “Final Result: Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2024”.

Click on the link to continue and view the result.
