He highlighted the significant batting advantage noting the scarcity of scores below 200 runs in the first week of the tournament. The first week of matches featured predominantly high-scoring encounters. Only two games saw totals below 200 runs. Even in those lower-scoring matches one team successfully chased a relatively modest target with ease. Several other matches saw teams amass substantial totals exceeding 200 runs with some teams successfully chasing down large scores and others narrowly winning despite scoring exceptionally high runs.
