Washington, DC: After being questioned about the alleged Signalgate scandal, US Republican House Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene yelled at a British journalist at a news conference on Wednesday, urging her to “go back” to the UK, according to Politico.

When Sky News reporter Martha Kelner tried to question Greene about the ramifications of top Trump administration officials discussing a military attack over a messaging app, a violent confrontation broke out.
The problem surfaced after The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg was inadvertently joined to a Signal group discussion that included senior officials, including National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Vice President JD Vance.

Democrats were quite critical of Goldberg’s subsequent publication of the conversation’s specifics, which exposed the security breach. Politico claimed that they demanded resignations from all individuals involved and denounced the episode as a severe intelligence violation.

The Georgia representative stopped Kelner as he started to ask Greene whether she was worried about the dangers the unencrypted Signal conversation presented to American lives. “Wait, what country are you from?” Greene insisted.

Greene went on an irate rant and completely dismissed Kelner when she replied that she was from the UK. “We don’t give a crap about your opinion and your reporting,” she said. “Why don’t you go back to your country where you have a major migrant problem?”

Greene turned away from Kelner’s attempts to pursue her line of inquiry and instead attacked the UK’s immigration laws.

“Are citizens of your nation important to you? She avoided answering the first question by asking, “What about all the women who are raped by migrants?” Greene once again declined to respond to Kelner’s query when another journalist, posing as an American, asked her to do so, Politico said.

Greene, a prominent member of the MAGA movement and a staunch Trump supporter, has a history of heated arguments with the media.

According to Politico, she got into a heated argument with former BBC journalist Emily Maitlis last year when she was questioned about spreading an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory about a wildfire in California that was allegedly caused by a laser beam from space.
