Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, has welcomed his fourth child, a baby girl named Hind.

The name was chosen in honour of his mother, Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum.

The announcement was made on Sheikh Hamdan’s official Instagram account, where he shared a heartfelt prayer for his newborn daughter.

"O Allah, grant her a heart filled with your love, make her a source of light and guidance, and clothe her in the garments of health and well-being,” hee wrote.

This new arrival adds to the growing family of Sheikh Hamdan, who already has two sons and a daughter.

His first children, twins named Rashid and Sheikha, were born in May 2021. In February 2023, the couple welcomed their third child, a son named Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.

Sheikh Hamdan, who has held the position of Crown Prince of Dubai since 2008, also serves as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE.

He is the second son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikha Hind. Sheikh Hamdan, often affectionately known by his nickname “Fazza,” is widely admired for his public service, leadership, and personal accomplishments.

Alongside his royal duties, Sheikh Hamdan has cultivated a strong presence on social media, particularly on Instagram, where he shares glimpses of his life and personal interests.

With nearly 17 million followers, his Instagram account (@faz3) offers a window into the Crown Prince's work, adventures, and family life, making him a beloved figure in the UAE and beyond.
