Shopkeepers who sell tobacco and pan masala are now required to register with the Municipal Corporation. The implementation of a licensing system for the sale of these items is on the agenda for the executive meeting, which is set for March 27 at 2:00 PM at the Municipal Corporation.
The session is anticipated to cover important public facility issues such water supply, sewage systems, and Smart City projects in addition to verifying the minutes of the last executive committee meeting. Guidelines for activities commemorating eight years of the state government’s service, security, and governance policies will also be discussed.
A proposal to rename Aurangabad as Laxmi Nagar or Narayani Dham in accordance with Section 91(1) of the Municipal Corporation Act is also on the agenda. Increasing shop rents, choosing an institution under the ‘One City, One Operator’ scheme, setting license fees for advertisements and collection bylaws, leasing Arya Ayurvedic Trust Raja Birla Hospital in Machodari for operational management, and long-term asset maintenance and operation are additional items.
The plan to set up Mother Dairy product sales kiosks in 11 parks and the auction of leftover electrical components will also be discussed during the meeting. Moreover, Section 91(2) will be used to consider executive committee members’ ideas.
