Cleo AI will pay $17 million to settle FTC charges for misleading customers about cash advances and making subscription cancellations difficult.

Cleo AI agreed to pay $17 million to settle US Federal Trade Commission charges that the cash advance company deceived customers about how much money they could obtain and how fast it would be, the regulator said on Thursday.
