The establishment of Sufi circuit in the state by the Bihar government is being seen as a historical step. The Sufi tradition which is considered a symbol of love, tolerance and spirituality, is now going to give a new height to the tourism of Bihar. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, this initiative is considered an important effort towards the preservation of secularism and cultural heritage.

Trying to save Sufi culture

Bihar is famous for its Buddhist and Jain heritage. Therefore, now a big step is being taken towards saving and promoting Sufi culture. Under this circuit, Sufi sites located in different parts of Bihar are being developed so that not only local devotees but also tourists coming from abroad and abroad can be made aware of the Sufi tradition.

Sufi sites will be developed

In this regard, State Tourism Minister Raju Kumar Singh said that by marking all the places of Sufi beliefs along with Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Jain, development works are being done with the correct tourist approach. According to the tourism department, these sites will be equipped with world class facilities, in which better roads, rest houses, lighting and informative signboard will be arranged. Apart from this, Sufi Music Festival and other cultural programs will also be organized every year, so that people can get an opportunity to get up with Sufi tradition.

Will be an example of secularism

Experts believe that this initiative will strengthen religious harmony in Bihar and promote cultural tourism. The foundation of Sufi tradition is based on love and unity and this step of the government will further strengthen brotherhood in the society. This Sufi circuit of Bihar will not only make the historical heritage of the state alive but will also strengthen the economy of the state through spirituality and tourism.

Apart from this, the Blooprint is being prepared by the Tourism Department, Bihar government for developing the renovation of Sitamarhi, the birthplace of Sitamarhi, the birthplace of Ardhangini Mata Sita, the pillar of Hinduism, Sitamarhi.
