New subscribers to YouTube TV have just a few days left to take advantage of a limited-time offer that slashes the monthly cost by $13 for six months. The promotion, which launched in late January, is officially ending on March 31making this the final call for users hoping to avoid the platform’s latest price hike.
The current deal drops YouTube TV’s monthly base plan from $82.99 to $69.99 for the first six monthsamounting to a $78 total savings. New customers also receive a 5-day free trial before billing begins.
However, the offer is only valid for first-time YouTube TV subscribers who have never previously signed up or taken part in a free trial. A valid payment method is required at signup, but no charges will be made until the trial ends.
YouTube TV Terms Highlight:
Offer valid only for new users
$69.99/month for first 6 months
Reverts to $82.99/month after promotional period
Cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid charges
While the discount is appealing, some users point out that the base price for YouTube TV was $72.99/month before the most recent hike. So although the offer is technically a deal, it only narrowly undercuts YouTube TV’s previous pricing structure.
The streaming giant announced its price increase in December 2024raising monthly rates to $82.99citing increased content costs and platform enhancements. At the time, some existing customers were offered a 6-month price lock to ease the transition.
With the clock ticking, new users still have a few days to lock in the lower rate and explore YouTube TV’s extensive lineup, including live sports, local channels, and unlimited DVR.
The promo ends March 31, 2025after which all new subscribers will need to pay the full $82.99/month — unless YouTube introduces a new deal down the line.
