There is preparation for recruitment to 26596 posts in UP Police. According to the Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, out of this, sub-inspectors will be recruited for 4534 posts. Apart from 106 posts for civil police, it will also include Platoon Commander of Armed Police and Sub Inspector of Special Security Squad. Apart from this, constables will be recruited on 19220 posts. In this, there will be recruitment on 9837 posts of PAC, 1341 posts of Special Security Force, 2282 posts of constable PAC Badaun, Gorakhpur Lucknow, and 3245 posts of general police constable. Apart from this, there will be recruitment on 2444 posts of PAC and other armed police. Apart from this, recruitment of prison guards will be done on 2833 posts.

Recruitment will also be done on 1153 posts of Computer Operator Grade A

Along with this, further action in the recruitment process for 44 posts of Radio Assistant Operator and 1,153 posts of Computer Operator Grade-A will also be started in April-May 2025. Thus, shortly, the process of recruitment for various posts for a total of more than twenty-eight thousand posts will be started this year.
