Several toll plazas will see an increase in toll rates starting on April 1st, with collection starting at midnight on March 31st, according to the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). The updated prices for five toll plazas in various districts, which range from Rs 5 to Rs 35, were made public on Thursday.

Notably, the toll for single journeys for automobiles, jeeps, and light trucks at AnantRam Toll Plaza on the Kanpur-Etawah Highway is still Rs 110. On the Aligarh-Kanpur Highway, seven-axle cars have been subject to the most increase of Rs 35.

Important Toll Changes:

The Aligarh-Kanpur Highway’s Nevada Kanthi Toll Plaza

-Car, jeep, and light vehicle single-trip toll: Rs 140 (up from Rs 135)

-Business cars: Rs 235 (increased from Rs 215)

-Tanks and buses: an additional Rs 15.

-A rise of Rs 20 for three-wheel drive cars

-Rs 25 more for six-axle vehicles

-Rs 35 increase for seven-axle vehicles

Aliapur Toll Plaza (Ghatampur, Kanpur-Sagar Highway)

-Vans, cars, and jeeps: Rs 55 (higher than Rs 50)

-Minibuses and light commercial vehicles: Rs 90 (increased from Rs 85)

-Trailers and three-axle trucks: Rs 290 (increased from Rs 280)

– Vehicles with seven or more axles: Rs 355 (increased from Rs 340)

Pass Hikes Every Month:

Automobiles, vans, and jeeps: Rs 1,835 (up from Rs 1,750)

The price of light commercial cars has increased from Rs 2,825 to Rs 2,965.

As opposed to Rs 5,920, buses and trucks now cost Rs 6,215.

-Rs 9,745 for three-wheel drive cars (up from Rs 9,280)

– Vehicles with seven or more axles: Rs 11,865 (increased from Rs 11,300).

Toll Plaza Basipur-Nevada Kanthi (Aligarh-Kanpur Highway)

The updated toll charges, which will be severely enforced starting on April 1, are intended to encourage infrastructure development, according to Aman Rohilla, Project Director of NHAI.
