It is expected that the second Amrit Bharat train in Bihar would begin service on the 14th of next month. The 22-coach new train will run between Saharsa and New Delhi, linking Bihar and the nation’s capital. There will be 22 coaches in all, including Sleeper and General, on the train that is intended to enhance the travel experience of the average person.

When compared to previous high-end trains, the new Amrit Bharat is expected to arrive in Delhi sooner due to its improved efficiency at 130 km/h.

Last year, the Indian Railways launched the nation’s first Amrit Bharat Train, which will run between New Delhi and Darbhanga in Bihar. Saharsa will be the second station after Dharbhaga to run the advanced train when the Eastern Railway launches the high-speed train from Saharsa.

The Amrit Bharat train offers a number of contemporary amenities to commuters, including foldable tables, LED lighting, and mobile charging. Comfort will be improved by the planned high-speed rail between Saharsa and New Delhi, which promises a jerk-free ride. Eleven general, eight sleeper coaches, one pantry car, and two luggage/LSRD coaches make up the train’s composition. Although careful planning is in progress, the Railway Board has not yet released the Amrit Bharat train’s official itinerary for the Saharsa-New Delhi route.

The Amrit Bharat train has engines at both ends of a push-pull system. The train’s speed is greatly increased by the front engine pulling it and the back engine pushing it.

Interestingly, Bihar will also get a unique summer train that would run from April 7 to June 30. The unique train will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminal and arrive at Danapur, Bihar, at the conclusion of its voyage.
