Furious fans have all issued the same complaint about one couple who were searching for their next property. On Wednesday (Marcy 26), an episode of the real estate show featured homeowners Adele and John who were looking for a holiday home near the golf courses in Murcia, Spain, with a budget of £100,000.
Presenter Ben Helman described the opportunity as "Adele's lifelong dream of holding a holiday home in the Spanish Sunshine". He added: "And with John recently retired, now is the time to make that dream come true, so long as there's a few golf courses around." The couple are both keen golfers and Adele described her partner as "the perfect gentleman" while he gushed: "She points me in the right direction when I sort of need it, I just love everything about her."
By the end of the episode, they made an offer on an apartment which they managed to settle on for a reduced price of £85,840. However, many fans felt that Adele talked more than her partner, who at times did not seem to share his thoughts.
After the show hit the airwaves, fans flooded to X - formerly known as Twitter - to share their complaints online. One user penned: "Adele says she doesn't know what John thinks. Likely it doesn't matter anyway."
Another agreed: "Ben tried to get John's opinion... I suspect he dare not disagree with the one that wears the trousers!" A third echoed: "He has the haunted look of a chap who isn't allowed to express an opinion."
Another chimed in with: "She's very me, myself, & I, isn't she? Does John get no say whatsoever" A fifth added: "She never even asked his opinion on the offer, then accepted it. If he's got any sense, let her go there and stay home in the UK... if she will let him."
It comes after viewers claimed that they were "crying and needing therapy" after a couple's controversial choice of breakfast sparked backlash on a recent episode of A Place In The Sun: What Happened Next? Earlier this month.
TV star Danni Menzies, 36, revisited Chris and Marie after the retired chef and ex police officer featured on the Channel 4 property show back in 2019 looking for a two-bedroom home in Manilva, Spain. They made an offer of £115,000 on a property which was accepted and the pair said cheers to a "new adventure" and "good health".
Footage in the recent episode showed them settled into their new life in the sun and enjoying breakfast at a cafe, with Marie tucking into some beans on toast while Chris indulged in a full English. Chris commented: "I've got my usual fry up", while Marie added: "It saves me cooking."
