As Death In Paradise season 14 is almost over, viewers can look forward to one more perplexing case and a host of guest stars.

DI Mervin Wilson is all set to head back to London in the final episode of the season, but his plans are abruptly halted when a woman's body is found in his shack.

Despite his claims of innocence, the lack of forced entry points to Mervin as the prime suspect, with the rest of the team hell-bent on uncovering the truth.

The identity of the deceased remains unknown for a while until it's revealed that she was a volunteer at a local turtle conservation charity, leading to the introduction of Sadie.

Sadie is played by Lyndsey Marshal, who is perhaps best known for her roles as Cleopatra in HBO's Rome and Lady Sarah Hill in Garrow's Law. She has also appeared in Poirot, Midsomer Murders, Peak Practice, Blackout, Hanna, and Inside Man.

Callum, another volunteer at the turtle conservation charity, is portrayed by actor Rupert Young. Fans of Bridgerton may recognise him as Lord Featherington from the second season of the popular romantic drama.

Young is also known for his role as Sir Leon in the drama Merlin, and has appeared in Doc Martin, Will and Judge Rinder's Crown Court.

The details of Rosa's role in Death In Paradise are still under wraps, but she will be portrayed by actress Lily Nichol.

Nichol is relatively new to the acting scene, having appeared in an episode of I Hate Suzie alongside Billie Piper as Dory.

She has also played Ellie in Lockwood & Co, Becky Trotter in Renegade Nell and Poppy in The South Westerlies.

Completing the guest stars in Death In Paradise season 14 episode eight is actress Nia Anisah, who will play Estelle Laroche.

In addition to appearing in several short films, she has portrayed Joe Sanderling in Magpie Murders and Evie in The Doll Factory.

While it's sad to bid farewell to the comedy-drama once more, fans can rejoice as season 15 has already been confirmed.

What's even more exciting is that filming for the next batch of Death In Paradise episodes is set to commence next month.
