Railways have recently placed two big orders to HBL Engineering Limited and IRCON International Limited. After this news, HBL Engineering shares rose by 3% and reached ₹ 479.35, however, it stopped at ₹ 472.15 while closing the market. At the same time, IRCON's shares fell by 2.16% and closed at ₹ 156.30, while its highest level during trading was ₹ 163.70.
HBL-Shiva Skill International Consortium acquired railway projects worth ₹ 500 crore.
The company has received two orders to set up indigenous train security system 'Kavach (Edition 4.0)' on railway routes:
First order:
Price: ₹ 244.68 Crore
Location: Rajkot Division of Western Railway (Veeramgam-Rajkot-Okha Section)
Time limit: 730 days (2 years)
Second order:
Price: ₹ 255 Crore
Location: Jhansi Division of North Central Railway (Dholpur-Bina Section)
Time limit: 700 days (about 2 years)
HBL Engineering is one of the major companies fulfilling the armor order for Indian Railways, besides KEC International, Kernex Microsystems, RailTel and Siemens are also associated with this project.
Joint Venture of IRCON International Limited and SSNR Projects Private Limited has been given a contract of Railway Development Corporation Limited for a major railway infrastructure project.
Project Details:
Tunnel T1: km 33+160 to km 34+400
Tunnel 2: km 57+400 to km 66+040
Construction work: ballast -free track and other infrastructure development
Railway projects received by HBL Engineering and IRCON are positive signs for their shares.
