's was left red-faced after his witty observation was proven incorrect. During the game show' he introduced contestants Nick, Duran, Geoff and Tracy who were all hoping to take home the whopping cash prize.

After Tracy's impressive cash builder round, the 64-year-old introduced as the episode's Chaser and moments before the player went head-to-head with The Governess, Bradley exclaimed: "Hang on a minute!" Highlighting the player's names, he remarked: "Nick Duran and Geoff Tracy," while looking at Anne with a huge grin. She looked confused and mumbled: "What?" As Tracy turned to the host and admitted: "I've never heard of them."

Confused by their response, Bradley said: "Huh, isn't that a thing?"

As the other contestants looked around, Nick shrugged: "I don't know," prompting the host to explain: "Well, Jeff Tracy is one of the Tracy's people, which is the Thunderbirds," as Anne interjected: "I think Jeff Tracy is the dad."

Bradley continued: "And Nick Duran is ... was that his name Nick Duran," which led to Geoff referencing the 80s punk rock band and clarifying: "Nick was in Duran Duran."

The 64-year-old was in fits of laughter as he realised: "Oh, there was a bloke called Nick in Duran Duran."

Anne poked fun at Bradley's error as she joked: "Now you're seeing patterns that aren't there, we've been working you too hard."

Admitting defeat, the host laughed: "Ok, I thought I had it then," as the players and studio audience chuckled at his blunder.

Bradley's mistake came just moments before, he bluntly told Tracy to "go home," as she prepared to reveal which offer she was going to choose for the head-to-head round.

As the team advised her to go for £7000 ahead of the final round, the player said: "Well, I want to get home," but before she could finish, Bradley interjected: "Well, go home then!"

After laughter erupted with laughter Tracy confirmed: "I'm going to take the £7000 please."
