New Delhi: According to the police, a guy with a criminal history was shot and killed Friday night in the Alipur neighborhood of Delhi.
According to police, a shooting incident reported from Nehru Enclave’s Thapa Gali left the victim, named as Karan Thapa, a resident of Thapa Wali Gali in Alipur, with many gunshot wounds.
The Delhi Police claim that they got a PCR call about the gunshots in the evening.
After being sent to Harishchandra Hospital, Thapa was pronounced dead. Karan Thapa has previously been implicated in two criminal cases involving extortion and a murder attempt, according to police authorities.
An ongoing family conflict, allegedly involving tensions between Thapa and his in-laws, may have played a role in the assault, according to the preliminary inquiry.
Legal actions are in progress, and teams of authorities have been assembled to locate and capture the accused.
According to authorities, a woman’s corpse was found inside a home in the Vivek Vihar neighborhood of Shahdara on Friday.
