BSNL news: Continuous efforts are being made by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) gain its customer base. From changing plans to improving services from time to time - the company is doing everything. However a new report has come out which reveals that despite companys best efforts customers are leaving BSNL. Between July and October 2024 BSNL has done the work of adding new customers due to a special deal for BSNL. A few months ago Jio Airtel Vodafone-Idea had increased the prices of plans. After this many users shifted to BSNL. This was the reason that BSNL users increased a lot. After some time the era of private telecom companies came back once again and many users started going back to Jio and Airtel. While BSNL and Vodafone Idea had to bear the brunt of this. The number of users of both telecom operators started decreasing. Between July and October 2024 BSNLs number had increased by about 36 lakh. Shortly after this BSNL lost about 6 lakh users. This data was shared by TRAI. The same was said in the reports. Along with this the decreasing users of BSNL had also become a matter of concern for the company. BSNL has speeded up the work BSNL had accelerated the work on 4G sites to compete in the market. The company accelerated the work on 4G sites and started about 83 thousand sites. Out of this the network was rolled out on 75 thousand sites. Along with this BSNL is also working on 5G. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia himself confirmed this. He had said that he is working on bringing a network in which only Indian equipment will be used for everything. Also this will be a completely Indian network. Because no foreign company will be taken help from in this. However the launch date of BSNL 5G has not been confirmed yet. But it can be launched very soon. In such a situation BSNLs entire focus is on this network.
