At the Bihar School Examination Board auditorium, Bihar Education Minister Sunil Kumar formally announced the results. S. Siddharth, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, and Anand Kishore, the Chairman of the BSEB, also attended the ceremony.
With 489 points each, the top three achieved an outstanding 97.80%. Ranjan Verma attends High School, Agiaon Bazar, Agiaon, Bhojpur; Sakshi Kumari attends JPN High School, Narhan, Samastipur; and Anshu Kumari attends Bhartiya Inter College, Champaran.
The state’s academic prowess is highlighted by the unusual achievement of three pupils sharing the top place.
Students performed well, as seen by this year’s total pass rate of 82.11 percent. After congratulating the achievers, Education Minister Sunil Kumar said, “We are proud of the hard work and dedication shown by our students.” Best wishes for all future endeavors and congratulations to all of the accomplished students.
In recent years, BSEB has continuously maintained a swift and transparent examination procedure, guaranteeing that students have their results on time. There are sixty females and sixty boys among the 123 pupils who have earned spots in the top ten rankings.
380,732 students earned third place, 524,965 students earned second place, and 452,302 students earned first place.
Between February 17 and February 25, 1,585,868 candidates—767,000 males and 818,000 girls—appeared at 1,677 locations across Bihar for the test.
Students must get at least 33 percent in each subject and a minimum of 33 percent overall to pass. Students who missed the test for legitimate reasons could be able to take special exams, while those who are failing one or two courses can take compartmental exams.
Additionally, the Bihar government has promised more incentives for pupils who do well. Those who place first will get Rs 2 lakh, a laptop, and a Kindle e-reader; those who place second will receive Rs 1.5 lakh, a laptop, and a Kindle e-reader; those who place third will receive Rs 1 lakh; and those who place fourth through tenth will receive Rs 30,000 apiece.
These incentives are meant to inspire pupils to achieve academic success.
