Sheer Khurma Recipe: Eid ul Fitr is the main festival of Islam. After the end of Ramadan, the festival of Eid is celebrated every year with great pomp and joy all over the world with the moon's heart. Know the ingredients to make Sheer Khurma-
5 cups full cream milk
A small packet sevai
50 grams of dry coconut
Half cup sugar
Green cardamom
Dates
Raisin
Finely chopped almonds
Half cup of ghee
2 teaspoon chironji
Cashew
Almond
Pistachios
Method of making Sheer Khurma-
1. First take a pan and add ghee to it.
2. Now finely chop all dry fruits and fry it in a pan.
3. Now heat ghee in another pan and break the servants in it and fry it well.
4. Now cook the milk in a big vessel till it thickens.
5. After this, add sugar, saffron and 5 to 6 dates and cook again.
6. When the milk becomes thick, add roasted dry fruits and sevai to it and run on low flame for some time.
7. After this, cool it and garnish it with dry fruits and serve.
The tradition of making Sevai on Eid is centuries old
According to Islamic belief, the sweets made from Sevai were distributed in Jung-e-Bara in the joy of victory of Muslims. Since then, the tradition of eating Sevai started on the day of Eid. Sevai is a traditional dish that has been part of the Eid festival for centuries.
