We are talking to you of the film 'Salaam e Ishq' which was released 18 years ago on 25 January 2007. It was directed by Nikhil Advani. This was his second film as a director. Earlier, he made the first film 'Kal Ho Na Ho' as a director which was successful. But Salam-e-Ishq was rejected by the audience. Apart from Salman Khan and Govinda in Salam -e -Ishq, there were also stars like Vidya Balan, Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, John Abraham, Ayesha Takia, Shannon Sra, Sohail Khan and Akshay Khanna. The film was a remake of the British film 'Love Accoo'.
Govinda played Raju, Salman, Rahul, Priyanka, Kamini, Anil Kapoor played Vinay Malhotra, Juhi, Seema Malhotra and Vidya played the characters named Tehzeeb. The makers spent a huge amount of Rs 35 crore to make the film. But in return he had to suffer losses. This multistarrer film could not succeed in pulling the audience.
