reportedly caused the Sentebale charity he co-founded to miss out on a venue for an event by a demand to bring his Netflix camera crew, the chairman of the charity has claimed just days after the Duke of Sussex, 40, In an interview with aired this morning, Dr Sophie Chandauka said an opportunity for Sentebale to do a charity Polo Challenge in Miami was in turmoil when Harry insisted on bringing his Netflix camera crew along.

Speaking about what happened, she claimed that about a month before the event was due to take place, the prince called the team and said: "I'm doing a Netflix show, and I would love to bring a camera crew so that I can include some footage in this show." Dr Chandauka said that this needed consent from the property owners, the sponsors and all of the guests as "nobody signed up to being on a Netflix show". She said: "We come up with draft agreements and of course, the venue owner says this is now a commercial undertaking. So here are my terms. We couldn't afford it. So now we lost the venue."

Despite losing the use of the original venure, the charity then managed to bag another venue through Harry's connections.

As , the duke attended the event with his wife Meghan Markle, 43, by his side, however the change of venue and Meghan's unexpected appearance meant the stage looked very crowded.

The chairman said: "And so the choreography went badly on stage because we had too many people on stage. The international press captured this, and there was a lot of talk about the Duchess and the choreography on stage and whether she should have been there and her treatment of me.

"Prince Harry asked me to issue some sort of a statement in support of the Duchess, and I said I wouldn't. Not because I didn't care about the Duchess, but because I knew what would happen if I did so, number one. And number two, because we cannot be an extension of the Sussexes."

These revealations come just days after down from alongside Prince Seeiso of Lesotho.

Harry said his decision to step down comes after several trustees demanded that Dr Chandauka resign over a dispute about whether the charity should focus fundraising in Africa. Dr Chandauka refused to resign and sued the charity in a bid to remain as chairman, forcing the trustees to quit themselves in protest.

The duke and Prince Seeiso said they backed those who left and have therefore resigned as patrons until further notice.
