You dal-1 cup
Spinach bunch – 1 large
Papad- 2
Tomato- 1
Onion-1
Green Chilli- 2
Ginger – Half inch (grated)
Turmeric powder- half teaspoon
Cumin- 1 teaspoon
Rye – 1 teaspoon
Red chili powder- 1 tsp
Coriander powder – half a teaspoon
Garlic buds- 2
Ghee or oil- 2 tablespoons
Salt- as per taste
Lemon juice- half teaspoon
Method
Prepare the material mentioned above before the other. – Then wash your dal and put it in a cooker with 2 cups of water.
Then wash and cut the spinach. Put a little water in a pan and boil the spinach lightly and then keep it aside.
Add cumin and asafoetida. When the cumin seeds start crackling, add ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and onion and fry it till it becomes golden.
Now add tomatoes and cook till it becomes soft. Then add red chili powder and mix.
Mix it well and cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes, so that all flavors are available.
