New Delhi: Nidhi Tewari has been appointed as the private secretary to Prime Minister
Narendra Modi, a government order said.
According to the memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on March 29, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved her appointment with immediate effect.
Nidhi Tewari is a 2014 batch
Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer and has been working at the Prime Minister's Office.
At present, Tewari is serving as the Deputy Secretary at the PMO.
Earlier, she was Under Secretary at the Disarmament and International Security Affairs Division at the
Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
