New Delhi: Railway PSU stocks – Ircon International Limited (IRCON), RailTel, and Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) are expected to be in focus on April 1, 2025, Tuesday. All three shares have dropped drastically in the last 5-6 months because of the stock market crash.
RVNL has granted IRCON a major railway infrastructure project, which involves the construction of Tunnel T1 Chainage Km 33+160 To Km 34+400 and Tunnel 2 Chainage Km 57+400 To Km 66+040 , along with a ballast-less track and formation works. The project will be completed by a joint venture of SSNR Projects Private Limited (IRCON-SSNR JV).
Meanwhile, Ircon International has awarded a project amounting to Rs 162.58 crore
to RailTel Corporation of India. As per the deal, Railtel is required to implement integrated tunnel communication, along with railway general telecommunication arrangements. The contract involves integrated tunnel communication and railway general telecommunication for the Sivok-Rangpo new BG rail line project of Northeast Frontier Railway (NF Railway).
Last week, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Railways, bagged a major road infrastructure project by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for the
construction of six-lane connectivity to Visakhapatnam Port Road in Andhra Pradesh.
RVNL won the project under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM). The Letter of Award (LOA) has recently been issued by NHAI. The awarded cost stands at Rs 554.64 crore (excluding GST).
The project involves the construction of a six-lane main Road spanning 12.66 km, including an elevated section of 1.596 km, service roads of 22.26 km, and 93 structures. These structures will include underpasses, culverts, minor bridges, road over bridges (ROB), and road under bridges (RUB). The project follows a greenfield alignment to ensure efficient and seamless road connectivity to Visakhapatnam Port, RVNL stated in its release.
