Police have issued a traffic advice for the city of Lucknow in relation to Tuesday’s Indian Premier League (IPL) game between the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).

The Ikana stadium is the planned venue for the game. The traffic police have put in place the appropriate measures, such as limitations and diversions, to make travel easier and reduce traffic congestion.

Traffic on Shaheed Path may increase between 2 and 7 p.m. during the match, according to the traffic warning. As a result, the DCP has urged regular commuters to use other routes and stay off the road.

Route detours
Roadways and any other buses and commercial vehicles, no matter how large or tiny, shall not be allowed on Shaheed Path during the match hours. There will be other accessible routes available for usage. Private automobiles and cabs will not be prohibited, however, since fans may still utilize them to get to the stadium.

In place of Shahid Path, Sultanpur Road, Raebareli Road, and Kanpur Road, general vehicles from Kamta Tiraha Ayodhya Road will go via Kamta Tiraha, Indira Gandhi Pratishthan Square, Samtamulk Square, Lal Batti Square, Kariyappa Square, Telibagh Square, Barabirwa Square, or Indiranahar Square, and Kisan Path.

In place of Shahid Path, Sultanpur Road, Raebareli Road, and Ayodhya Road, vehicles from Shahid Path Kanpur Road Tiraha would be able to go via Barabirwa Square, Bangla Bazaar Square, Telibagh Square, Kariyappa Square, Lal Batti Square, 1090 Square, or Darogakheda Kisan Path.

In place of Ahimamau Square, Shahid Path Kanpur Road Tiraha, general vehicles from Husadiya Underpass Square will be able to pass via 1090 Square.

Instead of turning right at the Police Headquarters from HCL Tiraha, Plasio Tiraha, vehicles from Sultanpur Road would turn right at Ahimamau Chauraha.

Automobiles traveling from Kamta Shahid Path to Kanpur Tiraha will go directly on Shahid Path rather than descending via Ahimamau ramp.

General traffic from Sultanpur Road will now go via Lulu Mall Cut Shahid Path rather than Ahimamau Chauraha after being rerouted from Amul Tiraha.

Vehicles in general from Kamta Shahid Path At Ahimamau Chauraha, Tiraha would not be allowed to do a U-turn and proceed to Cantt, Police Headquarters, Gomtinagar. These cars will pass by making a U-turn on Shahid Path from Medanta Hospital.

In the meanwhile, municipal buses on Shaheed Path will not stop close to Husadiya and Sushant Golf municipal.

TraAdvisory for taxis, cars, and e-rickshaws
Automobiles and e-rickshaws will not operate on Shahid Path’s service lane on the day of the game.

On the route behind PHQ, UP-112, and Maternity Hospital, e-rickshaws and cars traveling from Arjunganj would be allowed to turn left from Ahimamau and drop off and pick up passengers.

Travelers will be dropped off at Lulu Mall by cars and e-rickshaws arriving from Sultanpur Road. It will be forbidden to pick up and drop off people within 0.5 kilometers of Ahimamau.

Between Husadiya and Sushant Golf City, on Shahid Path, taxis won’t stop. Passengers will be dropped off by airport vehicles before to Ahimamau.
