IPL 2025: When will Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the youngest player in IPL history, make his debut in the Rajasthan Royals team? On this, the team's head coach Rahul Dravid told what the plan is for him.

Rajasthan Royals bought 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi for Rs 1.1 crore in the auction for IPL 2025, although he will have to wait a bit for his debut. Rajasthan Royals head coach Rahul Dravid has revealed that he is preparing this young player and will not be afraid to play him if the opportunity comes. Today Rajasthan Royals will play their third match (RR vs CSK) in IPL, the team is at the bottom of the points table after losing both their previous matches.

Head coach Rahul Dravid told in the press conference that Vaibhav Suryavanshi is an effective player and is currently gaining experience with the team players. The same thing is happening with him which is done to prepare a player.

When will Vaibhav Suryavanshi make his IPL debut?

Rajasthan Royals head coach Rahul Dravid said in the press conference, "He is training really well. He seems to be a good and exciting talented player. However, the other players are equally good and it is our responsibility to prepare him well, give him some time in the environment, let him get used to it and let him practice with the players. Let him experience the atmosphere, all this is a great experience for Vaibhav, rather than putting him directly in front of the crowd. This is part of the process we follow to prepare a player. If the opportunity comes, we will not be afraid to play him if needed."

Supported Riyan Parag to play at number three

In the absence of Sanju Samson, Riyan Parag is captaining the team. He is batting at number three but his performance has not been good. He scored 4 runs in the first match (vs SRH) and 25 runs in the second (vs KKR), although Rahul Dravid has supported him playing at this position.

Dravid said, "Look, Riyan Parag is one of our best batsmen. We want to give him a chance to play as many balls as possible. 20 overs is a very short time and the more balls Riyan plays, the better it will be for us as a team. Honestly, coming to number 3 was a positive move, so that Riyan gets more time to bat. If he gets more time, he can score more runs and this can benefit the team. I think he is quite comfortable, he is capable of batting in any situation."
