Director Sanoj Mishra Arrest: Director Sanoj Mishra, who gave work to Monalisa, a resident of Indore district of Madhya Pradesh, who went viral from the Maha Kumbh Mela held in Uttar Pradesh, has been arrested from Delhi in a case of raping a girl. Now a statement has also come from Monalisa's family in this case. The viral girl's uncle Vijay Bhosale, while talking to the media, said that our daughter is safe. She has taken a room in Indore, where she is staying and learning acting along with studying.
According to Monalisa's family, they have no knowledge about the allegations against film director Sanoj Mishra. They said that if they come to know of such a thing in the future, they will first inform the government and the media about it. However, they said that the director has not cheated them in any way till now.
He also said that as far as we know Sanoj through our daughter, he is a good person. But still, if we come to know anything in the future, we will first inform the government and the media. On Monalisa's career being affected, he said that right now she is doing some acting and studies and is safe. She is with her father.

Delhi Police has arrested director Sanoj Mishra in a rape case. After his bail was rejected by the Delhi High Court, Delhi's Nabi Karim police station arrested him from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday.
According to the statement recorded by the victim under the police complaint, she met Sanoj Mishra on TikTok and Instagram in 2020. During that time the victim lived in Jhansi. After the conversation, Sanoj called her to Jhansi railway station on 17 June 2021. When she refused to meet him, Sanoj threatened to commit suicide. The next day, on 18 June 2021, he called her again by threatening her and took her to a resort and raped her after feeding her intoxicants.
According to the FIR lodged against Sanoj, the accused had physical relations with the victim several times at different places on the pretext of marriage. By luring her with work in films, he took her to Mumbai, where both of them started living together. It is alleged that even there the accused continued to exploit and beat her. The victim also alleges that Sanoj got her abortion done 3 times. In February 2025, Sanoj left her. Also, he threatened that if she complains anywhere, he will make her photos and videos viral.
The victim alleged that on February 18, 2025, Sanoj took her to Hotel Shiva in Nabi Karim area, where he had physical relations with her, but later refused to marry her. She also confirmed the allegations in her statement under Section 164 of CrPC. During the investigation, medical documents of abortion were collected from Muzaffarnagar. Police arrested 45-year-old Sanoj Mishra on the basis of intelligence and technical surveillance. He is married and lives with his family in Mumbai.
